Jacqueline Cuncannan, MSW
Jacqueline Cuncannan, MSW has experience working with children, adolescents, and families navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, emotional regulation, and school-related challenges. She helps youth build emotional awareness, strengthen identity, and develop practical tools for managing stress and transitions. Jacqueline also works closely with parents to support progress at home and in school settings.
Before becoming a therapist, Jackie worked as a civil rights attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice, focusing on improving mental health and special education systems for youth. This background informs her compassionate, systems-aware approach to therapy.
Jacqueline’s work is warm, collaborative, and grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Person-Centered Therapy. She believes the therapeutic relationship is central to growth and strives to create a supportive, authentic space where children and teens can thrive.
Jacqueline continues to expand her knowledge of therapeutic theories and modalities as she works toward earning her Registered Play Therapist credential.
